SYSTEM RORNET is an efficient, module-based tool for technical and economic analysis and optimization of piped transport.
The system is developed for high performance – especially in connection to complex problems and large networks - and can be applied to district heating networks, natural gas networks, oil pipelines, water supply systems, industrial utility systems and the like.
Online documentation and context sensive help in English, German and Danish not only increases the above-mentioned efficiency, but also contributes to Quality Assurance of the work done by the analyst.
Example: District Heating covers 65% of Denmark's heat demand, and the majority of this is based on Combined Heat and Power (CHP). Almost all of these systems have been planned, optimized or analyzed by means of SYSTEM RORNET, which should vouch for its quality. Similarly, the program suite stems from 1979, a little before the Danish CHP boom took place.
So, the program suite has been developed for a long time, the inner algorithms have been fine-tuned and have proven their accuracy, stability and reliability for almost 30 years. The user interface has been improved again and again to benefit from the progress of developments in computer software. New options is continous added in response to our daily needs.
